Installation Guide
First, mount the card in a compatible Safety Manager chassis. Next, verify keying: module holes A5, C25 must match chassis large pins A5, C25. After that, connect the 24 Vdc supply to the correct terminals. Then wire field loops to the input channels and observe polarity. Finally, keep cable runs short and avoid noisy power lines.
Commissioning and Maintenance
Before power-up, check both supply voltages: 5 V and 24 V. During operation, use the external voltage readback to verify loop health. In addition, monitor crosstalk margin (>60 dB) in dense cabinets. If a module fails, replace it only with an identical keying version (A5, C25).
Compatibility Note
This module works with Honeywell Safety Manager racks that use A5/C25 keying. However, it is not a drop-in replacement for modules with different connector codes. Therefore, confirm the chassis pin layout before ordering.
