MTL4549Y Hazardous Area Signal Converter: Dual-Channel 4-20mA Interface with HART Support

Product Description

The MTL4549Y safely connects 4-20mA signals from controllers in safe areas to equipment in hazardous locations. It drives two current/pressure converters (or loads ≤800Ω) while enabling bi-directional HART communication for valve positioners. Open/short circuits in field wiring trigger automatic current reduction to preset levels for easy fault detection.
