Product Description
Bently Nevada 3300 NSv Proximity Probe (330910-00-05-10-01-00) – a high-reliability eddy current sensor for shaft vibration and position monitoring. This 1.0 m armored probe with M10x1 thread offers a 4.2 ± 0.5 ohm DC resistance. It operates from -52 °C to +177 °C and withstands demanding turbine, compressor, and pump environments. The probe tip uses PPS, and the case uses AISI 304 SST. It includes a miniature coaxial ClickLoc connector with protector. Factory new, in original packing, with a 12-month warranty.

Key Features & Diagnostics
- Measurement range – linear eddy current response for shaft displacement.
- Frequency response – DC to 10 kHz, suitable for vibration analysis.
- Sensitivity – 7.87 mV/µm (typical) with 5 mm gap.
- Linearity – ±0.5% full scale over the operating range.
- Resolution – 0.25 µm (ultra-fine for early fault detection).
- Environmental tolerance – withstands oil, water, and dust; IP67 rated.
- Interference immunity – shielded coaxial cable suppresses EMI/RFI.
- Diagnostic capability – detects bearing wear, shaft rub, and unbalance.
- Typical applications – turbines, compressors, pumps, fans, and gearboxes.
Installation & Handling Guidelines
- Use finger tight torque on the connector; do not exceed 0.56 N•m.
- Apply 11.3 N•m recommended torque on the probe case.
- Maintain min. bend radius 25.4 mm to avoid cable damage.
- Ensure unthreaded length ≤ case length – 20 mm for correct installation.
- Avoid sustained temperatures below -34 °C to protect the pressure seal.
Compatibility & System Integration
- Directly compatible with Bently 3300/3500 monitoring systems.
- Works with standard 75 Ω coaxial cables and proximity transducer drivers.
- Output interfaces with PLC, DCS, and vibration analysers.
- Replaces older 3300 probes with no system modification needed.
Certifications & Compliance
- CE marked – complies with EMC directive 2014/30/EU.
- ATEX / IECEx – suitable for hazardous areas (EPL Ga, Gc, Dc).
- Temperature classification per EN 60079-0 and IEC 60079-0.
- Manufactured under ISO 9001:2015 quality system.
