The EL1862 is a Beckhoff EtherCAT digital input terminal. It packs 16 channels into a 12 mm compact housing. A 20-pin contact strip supports insulation displacement connectors. As a result, wiring of many channels becomes much simpler. The terminal uses a 3.0 ms input filter. Therefore, mechanical switches produce no bouncing. Signal states are shown by LEDs.
