EPP1321-0060 Beckhoff EtherCAT to EtherCAT P Supply Module IP67
The EPP1321-0060 is a 1-channel supply module from Beckhoff. It converts EtherCAT to EtherCAT P. The IP 67 housing suits harsh plant floors. Each US and UP rail carries up to 3 A. That current feeds many sensors and actuators on one segment. For long or branched machines, add a voltage refresh point. Use the EPP1332-0001 junction for US or UP feed-in anywhere. For simple branches, the EPP1342-0001 works without refresh. Status LEDs show EtherCAT, US, and UP at a glance.

Professional FAQ
Q: When do I need the EPP1332-0001 instead of this module?
A: Use the EPP1332-0001 when voltage drops over a long segment. It refreshes US or UP at any point. The EPP1321-0060 only converts EtherCAT to EtherCAT P. It does not boost voltage. Check your voltage at the last box before deciding.
Q: Can I feed both US and UP from one M8 connector?
A: The 4-pin M8 socket carries US and UP. It also handles the feed-in for both rails. You can forward both downstream. Keep total load under 3 A per rail. Balance loads across segments to avoid trips.
Q: What cable do I use for the EtherCAT P output?
A: Use Beckhoff ZK700x-010x-0xxx EtherCAT P cables. They combine power and data in one jacket. The M8 socket is EtherCAT-P-coded. Do not use standard EtherCAT cable on the P side. Wrong cable gives link errors or no power.
Q: Does this module need a separate 24 V supply?
A: Yes. Feed 24 V DC into the 4-pin M8 male socket. The module draws about 100 mA from US. It then passes up to 3 A per rail to downstream boxes. Size your supply for the full segment load, not just this module.
Q: Is IP 67 enough for washdown areas?
A: IP 67 handles temporary immersion and hose spray. It suits most food and beverage zones. For high-pressure washdown, check IP 69K ratings on the full chain. Every connector must match the same IP level. One open M8 port breaks the rating.
