• What is the main use for the oscillating mirror?
  It moves the laser line. This creates a wider scan area. It helps read codes on curved or uneven surfaces.
• Can this scanner read 2D codes like QR codes?
  No. The CLV650-6000 reads only 1D barcodes. For QR codes, choose a 2D imager scanner.
• How do I choose between Standard and SMART decoder?
  Choose Standard for many codes per scan (up to 20). Choose SMART for complex or damaged codes.
• What mounting position works best?
  Mount directly facing the barcode label. Avoid extreme angles. Ensure stable lighting conditions.
• Do I need an external module for PROFINET?
  Yes. You need the CDF600-2 fieldbus module. The scanner itself has the basic D-Sub connector.
