IS200TVIBH2BBB GE Vibration Terminal Board – Mark VI Series
GE IS200TVIBH2BBB Mark VI Vibration Termination Board. Direct connection for Bently Nevada probes, -28 V DC Proximitor power, TMR-ready, -30 to +65 °C. Reliable turbine vibration monitoring & protection.
Product Description
IS200TVIBH2BBB is a Vibration Terminal Board from GE’s Mark VI Speedtronic series. It interfaces directly with up to 14 Bently Nevada proximity, velocity, acceleration, seismic, or phase probes. Two probe channels can forward signals to a VVIB board for vector analysis. The TVIB provides regulated –23 to –26 V DC excitation with short-circuit protection. It supports Simplex and TMR (Triple Modular Redundancy) configurations, ensuring continuous operation. This board is critical for real-time turbine vibration monitoring, alarm/trip logic generation, and predictive maintenance.

- Measurement Range: Depends on probe type (proximity, velocity, acceleration).
- Frequency Response: DC to 10 kHz (with compatible probes).
- Sensitivity: Probe-dependent; TVIB provides stable excitation for accurate scaling.
- Linearity: ±0.5% typical with calibrated Bently Nevada probes.
- Resolution: 16-bit A/D conversion on VVIB (external processing).
- Environmental Tolerance: -30 to +65 °C, 5% – 95% RH (non-condensing).
- EMI / Noise Immunity: Shielded terminal blocks, differential inputs, built-in filtering.
Installation & Setup
- Mount the board in a Mark VI rack (compatible with VME backplane).
- Connect probes to the 14 numbered screw terminals (two rows).
- Set jumper pairs (center of board) for routing configuration – refer to GE manual.
- Use the two D-shell connectors for permanent cabling to VVIB.
- BNC connectors allow portable data collectors for predictive maintenance.
- For TMR systems, ensure high-select diode circuit selects the highest -28 V bus.
Compatibility
Fully compatible with GE Mark VI control systems. Works with VVIB (Vibration Input Vector Board) for vector processing. Supports Bently Nevada 3300, 3500, and other proximity/velocity/acceleration probes. Interoperates with Modicon Quantum via VME bus (system-level). For legacy system integration, consult GE documentation.
Certification, Packaging & Warranty
- Certification: Manufactured to GE Mark VI standards; system-level CE and RoHS compliance.
- Packaging: Anti-static bag, industrial-grade carton, includes mounting screws.
- Warranty: 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects.
- Shipping: FedEx, UPS, DHL – global express delivery.
Diagnostic Capabilities & Applications
Diagnostics: Real-time vibration data acquisition, alarm/trip logic for eccentricity, axial position, and velocity thresholds. High-speed sampling (per VVIB) enables early fault detection. Supports phase reference for synchronous analysis.
Typical Applications: Industrial steam and gas turbines, compressors, generators, pumps, and rotating machinery in power plants, oil & gas, and heavy industry. Ideal for predictive maintenance and critical asset protection.
