SEW-Eurodrive FSC11B | Connectivity Module for MOVITRAC B Drives

The SEW-Eurodrive FSC11B adds serial and bus communication to MOVITRAC B frequency inverters. It provides an RS-485 port and a CAN-based system bus (SBus). The card also carries an X44 service interface on an RJ10 connector. Part number 18207162. It plugs directly onto the drive and saves panel space.

Which bus should I use, RS-485 or SBus?

Why does my SBus network drop at 1000 kBaud?

Cable length is limited to 40 m at 1000 kBaud. Check termination and shield bonding. Lower the baud rate for longer runs.

When should the 120 Ω resistor be active?

Enable DIP termination only at the two bus ends. Leave middle nodes unterminated. Wrong termination causes reflections and errors.

Can I reuse my old parameter set after swapping modules?
