Installation Guide
Mount the transmitter and receiver facing each other. Use the optical synchronization. No dedicated sync line is needed. Keep the detection distance between 0.3 m and 15 m. Align the units within ±2.5° angular aperture. Use the beam axis spacing of 20 mm for hand protection. The minimum object size is ø25 mm. Connect the OSSD outputs to your safety circuit. The response time is max. 5.0 ms. For interference prevention, connect up to 2 units in series and set the switch. The housing is IP65/IP67. It works in temperatures from -30 to +55 °C. Avoid direct sunlight above 20,000 lux.
Debugging and Maintenance
