Installation & Maintenance
Thermocouples connect directly to two removable I/O terminal blocks. Each block uses two screws for secure mounting. The board accepts up to #12 AWG wires. A shield terminal strip on the left side reduces electrical noise. I/O packs connect via J-type connectors on the board. The board is coated with conformal coating for protection.
Diagnostic Capabilities
The board monitors cold junction (CJ) signals. The system uses the average of two CJ readings. A 1°F CJ error causes a 1°F reading error. Hard-coded CJ limits are -40 to 85°C. If a CJ faults, the system uses a backup value. The backup can be from other boards or a default setting. Three LEDs on the faceplate show status and fault conditions.
