Description
The IC697PWR710 is a PLC power supply module for the Series 90-70 platform. It mounts on the leftmost slot of any standard baseplate. This unit converts 90–264 VAC or 100–150 VDC into a regulated 5.1 VDC output. It provides up to 56 Watts of backplane power to energize modules in the same rack. Active power factor correction (>0.95) reduces wiring and breaker sizing. Integral overvoltage (6.2 V) and overcurrent (12 A) protection safeguard the system. The module supports VME standard C.1 and includes a 21 ms ride‑through time.

Installation & Wiring
- Install only in the leftmost slot of the baseplate.
- Ground terminal: use AWG #12 (3.3 mm²) copper wire, 75°C rating.
- Tighten ground connection to 12 in‑lb (1.3 N·m) torque.
- Connect GND to rack GND, then to functional earth.
- Power supply door opens from the left corner.
